From the Files of "What Were They Thinking?"
M
ike Hart, Guaranteeing Victory over Notre Dame
This one comes from the files of "what were they thinking?"

The Michigan Wolverines are 0-2, and just suffered their worst loss since 1968.  But that has not shut-up a cocky running
back on the winless Wolverines team.  Mike Hart said, "We'll be all right, I'm not worried about it. We'll bounce back... I
guarantee we win next week."

This is another example of how arrogant the school of Michigan is.  Michigan is coming off the
biggest upset ever 2 weeks
ago in a game that saw a team that was ranked #5 in the country lose to a Division 1-AA Appalachian State.  Then in their
second game, the
Wolverines lost to Oregon.  And to top it off, both games were played at Michigan Stadium.

When the arrogant Mike Hart gave his prediction, did he know that Chad Henne will not play next week against Notre Dame?
Well, its not like Chad is having a great season either.  Maybe they will fair better with back-up Freshman QB Ryan Mallett.
But he will have to play better than his game against the Ducks; 6 completions in 17 attempts with 1 interception.

At least the Wolverines will not have to play a good team.  They are playing the Irish, who are also off to a winless start at
0-2.  NBC must be loving their multi-million dollar contract with the Irish to show this huge battle for 0-3.

Please don't wake up the echoes, nobody cares about this game.  And thank you Mike Hart for once again demonstrating
how arrogant of a school Michigan is.
